Bob Denver Passes On

Someone I feel I have known since I was knee-high to a knee has passed away. Bob Denver, known as the loveable failure aboard the SS Minnow on TV’s Gilligan’s Island, has died at 70. While I liked Gilligan, for me he will live on as Maynard G. Krebs, the beatnik sidekick of Dobie Gillis. As skipper would say, goodbye little buddy.
